Brigade signs Hyatt Regency management deals for two Bengaluru hotels
Brigade Group has signed management agreements with Hyatt Hotels Corporation to open two new Hyatt Regency hotels in Bengaluru, together expected to add about 600 rooms to the developer's hospitality portfolio. The announcement was made on Monday, 26 October 2026, and was disclosed by Brigade Enterprises Limited through a stock exchange filing the same day. Hyatt affiliates signed the agreements with Brigade affiliates, with Hyatt operating both properties under its management model.
The two hotels will sit in different parts of the city. One will be the Hyatt Regency Bengaluru at Brigade Global Park, a 25-acre integrated advanced engineering and business ecosystem. The other will be a Hyatt Regency on Brigade's upcoming integrated township along Whitefield-Kadugodi Road in eastern Bengaluru. Both are linked to larger mixed-use developments rather than standing alone, which Brigade says is central to how it approaches hospitality within its landmark projects.
The details
The Global Park hotel will offer about 350 guestrooms and suites, along with roughly 25,000 square feet of meeting and event space and several dining destinations. The Whitefield-Kadugodi Road hotel will have about 250 guestrooms and suites, a ballroom of more than 1,000 square metres, a large pre-function area and additional meeting rooms, alongside an extensive food and beverage programme.
Both hotels are expected to share a common set of amenities:
- An all-day dining restaurant and a specialty restaurant
- A grab-and-go outlet
- A rooftop bar and a pool bar
- Fitness facilities
- Flexible event spaces
Hyatt's President for India and Southwest Asia, Vikas Chawla, said Bengaluru continues to show strong demand across business travel, meetings and events, and described the city as a strategic market for the brand's growth in India. Hyatt said the signings reflect its continued commitment to expanding its presence in high-growth destinations across the country, and described the Whitefield-Kadugodi Road property as part of a premium mixed-use destination.
Nirupa Shankar, Joint Managing Director of Brigade Enterprises, said hospitality has long been a part of the company's landmark projects and that both hotels will form part of larger integrated developments combining several asset classes. A separate Brigade statement called the signing another important step in strengthening its hospitality presence in Bengaluru.
Location and context
Whitefield-Kadugodi Road is a growing commercial corridor in eastern Bengaluru, where office parks, technology campuses and residential townships have expanded over the past decade. The Namma Metro Purple Line extends into the Kadugodi area, giving the corridor a direct rail link to the wider city. Brigade Global Park, the site of the first hotel, supports demand from companies operating in the surrounding business districts.
Hyatt and Brigade both point to a steady mix of demand in the city, including business travellers, corporate meetings, social events and leisure visitors. Hotels of this scale in mixed-use settings are intended to serve those segments through the same campus or township that houses offices, residences and retail.
