Brigade Acquires Prime Whitefield Land Parcel for Premium Residential Development
Brigade Enterprises has acquired a two-acre freehold land parcel in Whitefield, East Bengaluru, where it plans to develop a premium residential project with a gross development value (GDV) of approximately INR 475 crore.
The acquisition, announced on 3 August 2026, marks another addition to Brigade's active residential pipeline in one of Bengaluru's most established corridors. The site is located in one of Bengaluru's established residential and IT corridors, which continues to witness demand from professionals working in the city's technology and commercial hubs.
Strategic Focus on East Bengaluru
The acquisition aligns with Brigade's strategy of expanding its residential portfolio in core markets where it already has a strong presence. Whitefield has emerged as a key growth centre for the developer, with multiple ongoing and recent projects across the locality.
Brigade's presence in East Bengaluru extends across several micro-markets. The developer has also acquired a 20.19-acre land parcel in the Whitefield–Hoskote corridor, planned for a large-scale mixed-use development with an estimated Gross Development Value of around ₹5,200 crore. Additionally, Brigade has entered into a 50:50 joint venture with Bain Capital to develop a premium mixed-use project in Whitefield, spanning approximately 11 acres on ITPL Main Road, involving a total project investment of INR 2200 Cr.
