Brigade Group Lays Foundation Stone for World Trade Center at Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram; Inaugurates Brigade Square

Brigade Group Marks Foundation of Flagship World Trade Center in Thiruvananthapuram

On 11th February 2026, Brigade Group conducted the foundation stone-laying ceremony along with a Bhoomi Puja for its flagship World Trade Center (WTC) at Technopark Phase I. The WTC will comprise 20 floors, along with a ground floor and four basements. The tower will come up alongside a high-end 237-room business hotel managed by Marriott International.

Designed as a global business hub, the project aims to strengthen the local IT ecosystem and attract international investment to the capital. The project is intended to bolster the capital city's IT ecosystem and enhance its appeal as an investment destination for multinational corporations and global capability centres (GCCs).

Brigade Square IT Building Inaugurated

The company also inaugurated Brigade Square, a 1.85 lakh sq ft IT building located near Technopark's Park Centre. The facility was inaugurated by Shri Sandip Kumar, IAS, CEO of Technopark, in the presence of Shri M.R. Jaishankar, Executive Chairman of Brigade Enterprises Limited.

Government Support and Strategic Vision

Shri Seeram Sambasiva Rao, IAS, Special Secretary, Department of Electronics & IT, Government of Kerala, attended the ceremony and unveiled the plaque. Technopark CEO Shri Sandip Kumar IAS highlighted the capital city's connectivity, skilled workforce, and upcoming IT policy incentives as major strengths that will support sustained growth.

Building Thiruvananthapuram's Commercial Landscape

The twin developments are strategically located near Technopark, one of India's largest IT parks, reinforcing the capital city's position as an emerging technology and investment hub. The World Trade Center at Technopark Phase One in Kazhakootam is designed as a landmark office tower with twenty floors, supported by a ground level and four basement levels.

Hrishikesh Nair, President, WTC, outlined the Group's broader roadmap for expanding IT infrastructure in Thiruvananthapuram. He said the planned developments aim to create a comprehensive ecosystem that can attract and support global companies looking to establish and grow their presence in Kerala.
